Overview
A company based in Kempton Park is seeking a reliable Picker and Packer to support warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and handling stock while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
– Pick stock accurately according to picking slips and customer orders
– Verify quantities, product details, and report any discrepancies
– Pack goods securely and prepare items for dispatch and delivery
– Load and offload stock from vehicles and containers
– Maintain organised and properly stored stock within the warehouse
– Assist with receiving stock and conducting stock counts
– Ensure warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping and general housekeeping
– Support drivers with deliveries and loading/offloading when required
– Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times
– Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar warehouse role
- Basic numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy
