Overview
GALXBOY, a leading South African streetwear brand, is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join their Rosebank store. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about fashion, youth culture, and delivering excellent customer experiences while driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product selection
– Promote and upsell products to maximise sales and store performance
– Process transactions accurately using POS systems and various payment methods
– Maintain store presentation through merchandising, replenishment, and pricing
– Ensure stockroom organisation and assist with stock control activities
– Keep the store clean, organised, and visually appealing at all times
– Follow company procedures, including attendance and operational standards
– Represent the brand professionally at all times
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1–2 years’ retail experience (advantageous)
- Basic computer literacy
