JOB OVERVIEW
The Project Planner / Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling detailed project schedules that guide projects from initiation through to completion. The role supports project managers and senior leadership by providing accurate progress tracking, performance reporting, and early identification of risks and deviations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing comprehensive project schedules and plans to track progress and ensure timely project delivery
- Collaborating with internal project teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives, milestones, and deliverables
- Monitoring and assessing project performance, focusing on both short-term execution and long-term outcomes
- Managing changes to project scope, timelines, and budgets using structured verification and control processes
- Applying advanced planning systems, tools, and performance measurement techniques to track progress accurately
- Identifying, reporting, and escalating project risks, issues, and constraints to management proactively
- Maintaining complete, accurate, and up-to-date project documentation, schedules, and reports
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ proven experience in a Project Planning, Scheduling, or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling tools, and software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a complex operational environment
