Overview
QPro Feeds, part of the VKB Group, is seeking a hardworking and reliable General Worker to support daily operations at its Vrede facility. This role is ideal for individuals with agricultural experience who can contribute to maintaining hygiene standards, supporting operations, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
– Maintain cleanliness of intake areas and bulk loading equipment
– Follow strict biosecurity and hygiene protocols
– Collect and transport delivery documents between departments
– Assist with handling samples and paperwork between production, lab, and dispatch
– Direct trucks and assist with offloading processes
– Monitor intake areas for blockages or operational issues
– Support yard coordination and ensure smooth truck movement
– Assist supervisors with operational tasks when required
Requirements & Skills
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an agricultural environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when required
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards
