Job Overview

Letlhakeng District Council invites applications from suitably qualified Botswana citizens residing within the Letlhakeng District for the position of Lorry Attendant. This role supports council transport and logistics operations by ensuring safe loading, offloading, delivery, and handling of goods and materials.


Main Purpose of the Job

To load and offload Council stores and support the safe transportation of goods and materials.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load and offload goods and materials.
  • Assist with delivery of materials to sites.
  • Safeguard goods and vehicles during transportation.
  • Provide manual support for moving goods.
  • Assist the driver during vehicle breakdowns.
  • Assist with cleaning and washing of the vehicle.
  • Perform any other related duties as directed by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • PSLE qualification.
  • Botswana citizenship.
  • Residency within Letlhakeng District.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
