Overview
The Building Company is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join the BUCO team in Port Elizabeth. The role focuses on delivering goods efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining company standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver goods safely and on time to customers
– Ensure vehicle is properly loaded and secured before departure
– Prevent damages, shortages, and breakages during transport
– Assist with loading and offloading of goods
– Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects
– Maintain cleanliness and condition of the vehicle
– Ensure correct quantities are delivered as per documentation
– Collect COD payments where required
– Complete delivery notes and ensure proper authorisations
– Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
– Uphold company values, safety standards, and procedures
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years relevant driving experience
