Overview
The Building Company is hiring Security Checkers across multiple BUCO branches. The role focuses on preventing theft, ensuring proper stock control, and maintaining a safe and secure store environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Monitor and check all goods leaving the store or yard
– Verify sales, returns, and documentation accuracy
– Obtain signatures from credit customers where required
– Handle and verify cash customer payments
– Conduct vehicle inspections and monitor loading processes
– Control access points, including boom gates
– Maintain visitor logs and records daily
– Report suspicious activities and security risks
– Uphold company policies, values, and safety standards
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (hardware/retail environment advantageous)
