Overview

A leading bakery operation is looking for a reliable and hardworking Loader to join the dispatch team in Potchefstroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and offloading bread products efficiently while ensuring quality standards and accurate stock handling.

Key Responsibilities

– Load bread according to picking slips and delivery requirements

– Follow the correct loading sequence for delivery trucks

– Ensure accurate tray counts and proper balancing of loads

– Maintain product quality during loading processes

– Apply FIFO (First-In-First-Out) stock rotation principles

– Attend daily operational briefings and team meetings

– Report any loading issues or discrepancies to management

– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

– Assist with dispatch duties when required

Requirements & Skills

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Minimum of 3 months experience in a similar role (FMCG environment preferred)
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
Ability to work well in a team environment
Good understanding of workplace processes and procedures
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working Conditions

Required to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Must be willing to work until all trucks are fully loaded
May be required to assist in other dispatch-related duties
